Enprani RetinoX8 was selected as a ¡°Hot Eye-Catching New Product¡± in 2008 by the Korea Management Association (KMAC)

Last May 28th, Enprani¡¯s Retino X8 was selected as a ¡°Hot Eye-Catching New Product¡± at the Korea Brand Conference 2008 hosted by KMAC. It was the first year in which the KMAC has given the "Hot Eye-Catching New Product" award. The Retino X8 was selected upon evaluation of the product's competitiveness in the market and potential for future growth.

This award ceremony took place at the Imperial Palace Hotel on the morning of the 28th. In addition to Enprani, there were 10 other brands that have been selected, among them; Enprani¡¯s RetinoX8 was the sole product from the cosmetics industry. In the afternoon, 4 selected companies had time for presentations. Byung-sun Im, senior executive of marketing at Enprani, made a presentation about RetinoX8¡¯s background and plans for the product¡¯s future.

Enprani¡¯s Retino X8 was recognized with the New Excellent Technology award (NET) from the Ministry of Science and Technology for the development of RetinoX8¡¯s main ingredient, Retinyl retinoate. The product also received the Health and Technology award (HT) from the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Family Affairs. The product was patented not only in Korea but in Japan, the European Union, and the US. Enprani¡¯s leading product also drew interest from the academic world for its publications in major international science journals.

Enprani plans to build on Retino X8¡¯s success by continually developing its products and by pouring more investments into the firm¡¯s Research and Development (R&D) department. Enprani has a vision to strengthen their hold in markets of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the US, and China in order to become a global household name in five years.

An Enprani Marketing spokesperson said "we had devoted the last 6 years to develop a new ingredient that can leap over the retinol. With RetinoX8¡¯s success, we will continue to bolster our consumer marketing to become a company renowned for quality."
